Peanut Butter Associated Outbreak

This was a outbreak of Salmonella Tennessee that was associated with Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter.  Jars of peanut butter dating back to May 2006 may have been affected.  Production of peanut butter at the affected plant was ceased on February 14, 2007 and all product was recalled.
