FoodSHIELD was designed to facilitate collaboration among the federal regulatory agencies, laboratories, state and local government entities, military branches, and academics involved in protecting the food supply and responding to foodborne disease outbreaks and safety concerns. FoodSHIELD also fosters collaboration between these entities and those in the food and agriculture industry. Upon completing member vetting, all participants have access to secure portions of the site.<\/span><\/p>\n
